MAN!!!!!!!!!  What a summer conference we had.  For those who missed it, take it from me.........IT WAS A GOOD ONE!  The ACTE/HOE division is alive and well and gettin’ stronger.  Now back to WVUIT news.  We had a busy summer school with 72 new teachers completing.  When you see them in your school, make them feel welcome.  The RTE’s (Regional Teacher Educators) will be making the rounds very soon.  School will be starting and so will the course work for permit and certification requirements. Registration and tuition payment should be completed as soon as possible.  Tuition has increased again.  The new rate is $448.03 for a three hour course.  This is not unique to Tech........every school has increased.  For those enrolled in Marshall, the rate is $720.00 at last report.  With tuition rates climbing, it is cost effective to get those degree requirements completed as soon as possible.  It is not going to get cheaper.  Contact your RTE if you need to register occupational updates or degree classes.......we are here to help.
